Luigi Snozzi, at the time head of the architecture department at the EPFL, invited me to lead a workshop with Christine Dalnoky. Present when Snozzi gave corrections to his students, at first I didn't understand a thing: there was talk of low walls, walls, avenues, a garage... And yet, it was indeed vast territories that were being discussed, and for which the intervention of these architectures would help reveal and amplify. It wasn't a question of modesty, but rather a precise knowledge and culture demonstrating its powerful modernity.
